Deleting Your Data
Last updated: September 1, 2026
1.Disconnect a connected account
- Sign in and open the Channels page.
- Press the disconnect button next to the account you want to remove.
- Once you confirm, that account's access token is deleted from our database.
This takes effect immediately. No further posts can be sent to that account, and any scheduled posts queued for that channel will not be published. Your other channels and your account are not affected.
2.Revoke access from the platform's own settings
In addition to disconnecting on our side, you can withdraw the permission you granted from the platform itself:
- Instagram: Settings and privacy → Website permissions → Apps and websites, then remove Postju.
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → App permissions.
- LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services.
When you revoke access on the platform side, the token we hold becomes invalid and the channel moves to a “reconnection required” state. To remove the record entirely, also delete the channel from the Channels page.
3.Delete a post
Delete the post from the Posts page. Posts that have not been published yet (drafts or scheduled) are removed completely, along with the images you uploaded for them.
Published posts remain on the platform — deleting a post here does not remove it from Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn. You need to delete it from that platform’s own app.
4.Delete your account entirely
The account deletion section on the Settings page
Open the Settings page in the app and use the account deletion section. It asks for confirmation and cannot be undone.
Deleting your account permanently removes: your profile details, all connected channels and their access tokens, your posts, your publishing history, and every image you uploaded.
Deletion also covers everything we received from the connected platforms: no data from them remains with us, including account id, username, and profile picture.
5.What is deleted, what remains
Deleted
- Your profile and sign-in details.
- Connected channels and their encrypted access tokens.
- Your posts, schedules, and publishing history.
- Every image and video you uploaded.
- The account id, username, and profile picture we received from connected platforms.
Remains
- Posts already published on your behalf that live on the platform — you need to delete those from that platform's own app.
- Limited records we are legally required to keep (invoicing data, for example), and only for the statutory retention period.
6.Requesting deletion by email
If you cannot reach the app, or you would rather send a written request, email destek@postju.com. Writing from the email address registered to your account is enough for us to verify the request; we do not ask for additional documents.
We complete such requests within 30 days at the latest and let you know once it is done.
