One post counts as one, however many channels it goes to — a tool built on “write once, publish everywhere” has no business charging per destination. Paid plans have no post limit at all.

X is the only platform that charges per post: it closed free access in 2026, and every publish now costs us directly. Spreading that cost across all plans would mean charging people who never touch X. So X sits next to the plans rather than inside them — add it if you need it.

Things worth knowing
- What counts as a channel?
- Every social account you connect is one channel. Two Instagram accounts count as two; you can't connect the same account twice.
- How are posts counted?
- Each piece of text you write is one post, no matter how many channels it goes to. A single post sent to three channels takes one off your quota.
- What happens when the free quota runs out?
- You can't create new posts, but everything already scheduled keeps publishing as normal. The quota resets on the first of each month.
- If I downgrade, do my channels stop working?
- No. Your existing channels and scheduled posts keep working; you just can't add new channels above the limit. Nothing is switched off quietly.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes, in one click. Your plan stays open until the end of the period you've paid for, then drops to the free plan.
- Who issues the invoice?
- Polar takes the payment and issues the invoice. Your card details never reach us; changing a card, cancelling and invoice history all live in Polar's own screens.
