Getting started

Which accounts can I post to today?

The current list of live platforms is on the integrations page. A platform only joins that list once connecting an account and publishing a real post have been verified end to end; we'd rather be sure something works than say 'coming soon'.

Is there anything to install?

No. You create an account with your email address, connect your channels, and start writing. There's no program to download and no extension to install.

Do you ask for a credit card?

No. You don't need to enter card details to try it.

How long does the first post take?

After creating your account, connecting a channel and scheduling your first post takes a few minutes. The longest step is granting consent on the platform's own screen.

Security and privacy

Do you want my social media password?

No. You connect your accounts through each platform's own consent screen — your password stays there and never reaches us. You don't need to give it to your team either: the person you invite signs in with their own Postju account and uses the connected channels without ever seeing your password.

How do you store my access permissions?

Encrypted. Access and refresh tokens are held encrypted in the database and decrypted only at the moment a post is being published, for that one job.

Could a post I didn't create be published?

No. Postju publishes only the posts you created, at the moment you asked for. We don't farm followers, perform automatic likes, or post in the background.

Do you delete my data?

You delete it. Removing a channel deletes that channel's access permission immediately; deleting your account from the Settings screen removes your posts, media and channels along with it. You don't need to apply to us for either.

Posts

What happens if my text doesn't fit a platform?

You're warned while you're still writing. The counter works from the tightest limit among the channels you selected and tells you which account overflowed and by how much; it doesn't wait for the post to be rejected.

Can I add images and video?

Yes. JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF for images; MP4, MOV and WebM for video. Which channel accepts which format varies, and Postju tells you while you're picking the file.

Does my computer need to be on for a scheduled post?

No. Scheduled posts are stored on the server and published at the minute you specified. You can close your browser.

What happens if a post fails?

If it's a temporary error, it's retried automatically. If it's permanent (text too long, format not accepted, consent revoked) the post is marked failed and the reason is written on the card. Once you've fixed it, you can resend in one click.

Can I change the text per platform?

Right now a single piece of text goes to all selected channels. Per-channel text is something we're working on.

Teams

Can I use it with my team?

Yes. You set up your company and invite your team by email address. Everyone signs in with their own account and uses the channels you connected without ever seeing your social media password.

What do I do when someone leaves the team?

Removing them from the team list is enough; their access ends at the same moment. You don't touch the connected accounts or change any passwords.

Can I see what everyone has planned?

Yes. The calendar and post list look the same for everyone on the team, so the same content never goes out twice and nothing gets forgotten.

Pricing

Does Postju cost anything?

It's free right now. The product is in active development and we don't offer a paid plan; if we introduce one, we'll tell existing users in advance.

Is there a post limit?

We don't impose one on the Postju side. Each platform's own daily publishing quotas apply; if you hit one, you'll see it on the post card.
